Applications are invited for two Volunteer Board Directors
We are looking for two new board members with skills in human resources or fundraising. As a board member you will attend monthly board meetings (in the evenings, in central Dublin) and will contribute a few hours a month to Care After Prison (CAP) at other times.
This is a voluntary role (unpaid) that presents an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills in governance and other areas as part of their career development strategy. Joining the board of Care After Prison is also an opportunity to give something back to society.
As a board member you will bring your own expertise to the benefit of CAP, and help to guide the organisation through its evolution.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic person, a team player with:
- An understanding of the non profit sector and the challenges and opportunities involved
- A passion/interest in the effective running of organisations and good governance
- A desire to change Ireland for the better
In our Human Resources expert, we are looking for a person who can give fast, practical advice to line managers and take a lead in CAP’s HR strategy, policies and processes.
In our fundraising expert we are looking for someone who can develop and help execute our fundraising strategy and thereby grow CAP’s income.
To apply: please send a CV with a covering letter stating why you believe you are suitable to join CAP’s board to firstname.lastname@example.org
