We ran our first CAP Train the Trainer Course last week, five peers completed the training and will be coming on board with CAP as co trainers on the next rouond of our Peer Mentor Training courses! Big shout out to Tony & Jason and Rethink Ireland for funding this development.

I get such a lot from being a mentor, being able to help someone is just a brilliant feeling, I want to share with others what it’s like to be out and stay out, it’s not easy but it can be done, and I can help.

This CAP’s peer support group was so desperately needed for a long, long time. So happy to hear that finally there is help for so many who are and who have been judged. The lack of support in and around the transition, for so many in this situation, or facing these experiences is huge. Well done CAP. Wish you well in this journey.
